Here at Newport Boat club rowing, we have enjoyed great success in the racing calendar over the years, with our Mens, Ladies and Mixed crews often storming over the finish line in first place. Welsh Sea Rowing hold events and league races annually.
The event which we contribute to the Welsh Sea Rowing race league is called the Dinas Head Challenge which is always extremely popular with other clubs. This year it is scheduled for May 23rd. Competitors will row from Goodwick, round Dinas Head to Newport Boat Club – it never fails to be exciting!
