Easter Bingo Night – 7:30pm Wednesday 5th April (please note change of date) Do come and join us for a fun evening of Bingo at the Club, £6.00 per person – prices per line and house. We are limited to 40 persons so please book in at the bar to confirm your place.
Easter Egg Hunt – 2:00pm Easter Sunday for our younger members there will be an Easter Egg hunt. We look forward to seeing you.
Club Quiz Night – 7:00pm Thursday 13th April. Do come and join us for our April quiz night. Teams of 4 (maximum 5), £5.00 per team.
SAILING AND BOATING MATTERS
Communications of Sailing matters via email – if you wish to be included in specific sailing related emails, please drop an email to sailingandboating@newportboatclub.co.uk
Boat Parking – Members wishing to park their dinghies or tenders at the Club should enter their details on the form kept behind the bar and pay the appropriate fee of £30.00 per boat.
Dinghies (maximum 14') should be on the grass at the front of the club on movable (inflated tyres) trailers and tenders to the rear of the Club. Your craft must be insured for third party liability, the Club accepts no responsibility for your craft. All craft must be removed by 30th September 2023.
Rowing – Now that the weather is improving there will groups of us rowing more regularly (5 in a boat). If you would like to try rowing you can have 2 taster rows before buying your rowing insurance (£15 a year). If you’re interested please email me at: commodore@newportboatclub.co.uk and we’ll get you out on a row.
MEMBERSHIP
For any of you who would appreciate help with any membership issue, technical or otherwise, Em your Club Administration Manager has arranged to be available to chat with you and help if needed out side of her normal working hours, 2 -9 pm, on Tuesday 11th , Thursday 13th & Friday 14th April.
An update on incorporation will follow shortly, but all is in hand and proceeding as expected.
