With Christmas fast approaching here are a few dates for your diaries!
Friday 13th December – 7pm, Cwrw a carolau. Carol singing with the vicar of Newport, enjoy a pint, mulled wine and mince pies.
Tuesday 17th December – 7pm, Eyes down for Christmas Bingo in the Commodores Lounge £6 per book. To make a table booking call in at the bar, phone or email barmanager@newportboatclub.co.uk.
Sunday 29th December – 6pm Christmas Quiz in the Commodores Lounge. Get your thinking caps on for our Christmas themed general knowledge quiz £5 per team, max. 6 in a team. Please note due to the popularity of last year’s quiz you MUST make a booking for this event. Call in at the bar, phone or email barmanager@newportboatclub.co.uk
Don’t forget we have our volunteer recruitment evening next week.
Your club needs you!
To address the need for more support, however large or small, we are instigating an initiative to grow our volunteer base.
On Tuesday 26th November between 6:00pm and 8:00pm, there will be a Volunteer Recruitment Evening
This evening will be an opportunity for you, to come to the club and meet members of the management team to learn more about the running of the club and see where you may be able to give a little of your time either on or off the water.
